We are seeking a motivated Underground Mine Geologist to join our Technical Services team, supporting the safe, efficient and cost‑effective extraction of ore while contributing to the ongoing growth of our mineral resources.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a geologist looking to develop their underground experience, broaden their technical capability and progress their career within a supportive, safety‑focused environment. You will work closely with mining and technical teams, gaining exposure across all aspects of underground geology with strong mentoring and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and validate geological data through underground face mapping, sampling and diamond drilling
  • Provide geological direction for ore drive development to maximise ore recovery and efficiency
  • Log diamond drill core and validate data to support high‑quality geological modelling
  • Track drilling activities and provide end‑of‑hole calls to optimise performance and cost
  • Maintain accurate grade control, material movement and stockpile tracking
  • Complete daily, weekly and end‑of‑month geological reporting and reconciliations
  • Support stope reconciliations, drill planning and geological interpretation
  • Maintain high‑quality handover routines between shifts
  • Actively promote safety, compliance and continuous improvement on site
  • Mentor and support Junior and Graduate Geologists within the team

About You

Essential

  • Bachelor of Science (Geology) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2.5 years’ underground mining experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Experience with underground face mapping, sampling and diamond drilling
  • Working knowledge of Leapfrog, Surpac or similar geological modelling systems, with a willingness to further develop technical capability
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • Current unrestricted WA C Class Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
